About Us

WELCOME to the online home of Cub Scout Pack 262!

Cub Scouting is open to boys from first through fifth grades. When Cubs aren’t working to achieve their next badge of rank, they are camping, hiking, building pinewood derby cars, shooting off rockets or enjoying an adventure with their family and making new friends.

Cub Scouting builds character and instills lifelong values and spiritual growth. So join us today in the “Family of Scouting.”  Please use the form below to inquire about joining our pack.

Cub Scout Pack 262 was first chartered on October 1st, 1962; since then it has grown into a strong and positive part of the Clayton community. Today, the Pack still honors the finest in Scouting traditions by continuing to provide a structured and varied Scouting program that has something fun and exciting for every boy who joins and participates in the Pack.

Our motto, “Pack 262 Rocks”, is emblematic of our focus on the boys and their Scouting experience, as well as the commitment of the Pack’s parents and families who are BSA trained leadership and volunteers.

Pack 262 meets at 7:00 PM on the third Thursday of every month during the school year at Mount Diablo Elementary in Clayton. We welcome all boys of elementary school age and their parents who wish to visit and share in the fun!.

Pack 262 is sponsored by the Clayton Business and Community Association and we are members of the Muir District of the Mt. Diablo Silverado Council.
